My work explores themes of nature and humankind, specifically, the relationship between the two and how it effects our everyday lives. As an artist who grew up loving the outdoors, I’m most interested in depicting nature and its natural beauty. To contrast this love of nature, and the organic aspects of line and composition it contains, I often depict the rigid structures of industrialization and other manmade objects. It is this contrast between the natural beauty of nature, and the products of a consumer society which inspires a majority of my work.
